NBC Gives Only 21 Seconds to Scoop That Obama Knew People Would Lose Health Plans; ABC and CBS Ignore

Why does Obama’s approval sit at an UNBELIEVABLE 41%?
Why isn’t is dropping to Truman and Bush levels?
Why do the progressive freaks seem to have limitless temerity when they lie OUTRIGHT?
Why can a man like Barack Obama garner 53% of the popular vote?
From Newsbusters ..
Near the end of the fourth story on Monday’s NBC Nightly News, White House correspondent Peter Alexander managed to squeeze in a mention of the network’s scoop that the Obama administration knew for years that millions of people would be kicked off of their current health insurance plans because of ObamaCare, despite the President’s repeated assurances to the contrary
Alexander provided a mere twenty-one seconds of air time for the revelation: ”That millions will lose or have to change their individual policies is not a surprise to the administration. NBC News senior investigative correspondent Lisa Myers found buried in the 2010 ObamaCare regulations, language predicting, ‘A reasonable range for the percentage of individual policies that would terminate is forty percent to sixty-seven percent.’”
Tuesday’s Today completely ignored the news and neither ABC nor CBS bothered to mention it at all.

Those of us more to the right than broadcast networks (that would be the center, BTW) already suspected or were CERTAIN about the real purpose of O’care. That the govt rewrote the grandfathered clause after the 2009 passage of the incomprehensible and unread so that even a $5 co-pay change required the changed policy to now adhere to O’care (making it unaffordable and therefore a non product) merely confirms every single worst suspicion with regard to the intent of FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION.
Listening to the out of touch, delusions and incredible baloney yesterday at the Sebelius hearing from elected Democrats was one of the more disgusting and enraging things I have experienced since 1972-1974.
The Republicans had BETTER find a good nominee. One who can overcome the yellow journalism of the left, and the determined political goals of those who purport to report facts.

These people at the news networks are not being touched by ObamaCare because they have employer-based insurance policies. Will those policies escape the ObamaCare regulations down the line?

Maybe they'll be touched very soon after all.

According to this (dated October 30, 2013):

CNBC’s morning anchors were troubled by the news that their own insurance plans will become more costly under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

On Oct. 30’s “Squawk Box,” CNBC Senior Correspondent Scott Cohn revealed details of NBC’s open enrollment, brandishing an official fact book outlining the process. He quoted the document, revealing that the ACA would increase employee premiums.

Cohn observed “Some of these costs, when you look at this, are way up -- double digits.”

Aetna Chairman and CEO, Mark Bertolini explained that “Aetna alone will pass through to its customers over a billion dollars of taxes and fees associated with the Affordable Care Act.”

Ironically, NBC has worked hard to promote Obamacare. In the week before the exchanges opened, NBC launched their own week-long campaign, to “help Americans get the most out of the Affordable Care Act.” NBC affiliate MSNBC was even more blatant in touting Obamacare.

According to the new health plan, “federally mandated health care changes will require Comcast-NBCUniversal to pay new fees and implement plan design changes that will contribute to the increased cost of our plans.”

These plan changes would also affect other NBCUniversal outlets like NBC and MSNBC.

The fees are much lower than the premium hikes we've heard about -- the fees being a 4% hike of the premium. BCBS is also passing along fees.
